Madison Industries to Acquire Nortek Air

Maneuvering by companies to improve footing in indoor air quality continues. Acquisition includes Nortek Air's Broan, NuTone, Reznor, StatePoint, Zephyr and Huntair brands.

Madison Industries, one of the world’s largest privately held companies, announced today an agreement to acquire Nortek Air, a leader in providing critical air management, thermal and HVAC solutions. The deal adds Nortek brands Broan, NuTone, Reznor, StatePoint, Zephyr, Huntair and many others to Madison’s portfolio of indoor air quality solutions. That portfolio includes Air Flow Technology, Airxchange and Dectron.

The acquisition is slated to close this summer.
