Lennox Expands Into Variable Refrigerant Flow Technology

Lennox Industries announced today it will be expanding its portfolio in 2014 into variable refrigerant flow (VRF) technology, to serve the North America commercial HVAC market. Widely used throughout the US, Europe and Asia, variable refrigerant flow (VRF) technology within North America is forecasted to achieve double-digit growth rates over the next five years as market acceptance continues to increase, according to Lennox.

Lennox VRF Systems will allow Engineers, Contractors and Owners additional flexibility in design and installation while also offering energy savings and superior comfort.  Featuring variable speed compressor technology, Lennox VRF systems will automatically vary compressor speed to match system demand providing improved temperature control. Both Heat Recovery and Heat Pump VRF systems will be introduced in 2014 providing customers with cooling and heating when and where required, including simultaneous cooling and heating.
