Todd Jacobs

"Todd brings an abundant amount of value and expertise to KAI's design groups," said KAI Director of Architecture Marcus Moomey, AIA, DBIA. "Not to mention to our clients and partners who will reap the benefits of his 30-plus years of experience, which includes everything from programming and facility master planning, to design and construction administration, and of course architectural design. We are excited to add Todd to the KAI team."

Jacobs, a registered architect in Missouri and Illinois, was a founding member of the Construction Forum St. Louis Board of Advisors and a past president of the St. Louis Chapter, American Institute of Architects (AIA). He has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State University.

Prior to joining KAI, Jacobs was a principal/architect/COO with Springfield, MO-based Bates Architects and a former principal with Clayton, MO-based Christner, Inc.

DaMon T. Pettigrew of Florissant, Mo. has joined KAI as an Engineering Specialist.

DaMon T. Pettigrew

In this position, Pettigrew stands at the front line of quality control for KAI's MEP Engineering department, acting as an in-house coordinator for drawing and document management and design using Revit. Additionally, Pettigrew will serve as a liaison between the client and the company, providing guidance during the planning, design, development and testing stages for projects at KAI’s St. Louis headquarters and its affiliate offices in Georgia, Nebraska and Texas.

Pettigrew brings more than 12 years of AEC experience to KAI Design & Build and holds Bachelors and Associate degrees in Construction Management and Computer Aided Drafting and Design.  Prior to KAI, Pettigrew worked as an Intelligent Transportation Systems Designer at Ross & Baruzzini, Inc. and as a Mechanical Designer at Penta Engineering.

“We are excited to welcome DaMon to the KAI Family,” said Paul Piazza, Director of Engineering for KAI Design & Build. “With his extensive MEP background, I know he will be a valuable addition to our team.”
