Danfoss Releases New, Larger Capacity Compressor for the Turbocor® TT Series

Danfoss, the pioneer and world leader of variable speed, oil-free compressors for the HVAC industry, has introduced the new Danfoss Turbocor® TT700 compressor—expanding to a larger capacity its existing range of Turbocor® TT series compressors.

Designed for water-cooled chiller applications and built with proven Turbocor® technology, the new TT700 compressors are oil-free, variable-speed, magnetic bearing centrifugal compressors that provide outstanding full- and part-load energy efficiency. The compressors also feature a small footprint, are light weight, and offer low vibration, very low sound, intelligent controls, and soft starting characteristics.

The Danfoss Turbocor® TT700 compressor expands the TT series compressor platform to increase the maximum capacity range, specifically targeting 400V and 380V applications. The new TT700 will be able to deliver 200 Tons (700kW) at typical full load rating conditions for 400V and 380 Volt applications, both 50Hz and 60Hz.

As part of the Danfoss Turbocor® portfolio, the TT700 compressor offers the efficiency, sound, and maintenance benefits of all Turbocor® compressors.

Danfoss Turbocor® TT series compressors are now available in four different models ranging from 90 to 200 Tons (300 to 700kW).

These new compressors are available to existing Danfoss OEM partners using the Turbocor® line of compressors beginning in December 2016.

Danfoss was awarded top honors for Product of the Year at the 2015 AHR Expo for its Turbocor® VTT compressors and named an Honorable Mention in the 2017 AHR Expo Innovation Awards program – green building category for Turbocor® TG compressors.
