Superior Boiler Works, Hutchinson, Kan., has been selected after a competitive process to provide equipment for a major new biopharmaceutical facility in the northeast United States.
“The multinational customer selected Superior Boiler over other competitors based on our ability to provide multiple pieces of equipment in the desired lead times and as a complete, turnkey engineered solution,” said Gabriel Dauphin, Superior Boiler’s vice president of sales and marketing. “This award represents a significant project win for us. It is evidence of our ability to work with our customers upfront and provide a high-quality, custom solution to their specific requirements.”
Superior will deliver two 800-horsepower Wichita model boilers and an 82,500-pph deaerator to the biopharmaceutical facility. The Wichita boiler, a newer model in the company’s boiler line, incorporates the latest engineering enhancements to achieve maximize efficiency and operations in a small footprint. The boilers, which will be packaged with Weishaupt burners and Siemens combustion controls, incorporate the latest technology for efficient operations on natural gas.
