AHR Expo Provides Important Event Update

Aug. 10, 2020
Show management personnel remain in touch with a team of advisors and partners, should they need to make important decisions related to staging the event.

Show managers for the International Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Exposition (AHR Expo) recently provided an update on the current state of the upcoming 2021 AHR Exposition, scheduled for January 25-27 at McCormick Place, Chicago, Ill.

As of July 30, 2020, the 2021 AHR Expo remains in place as a live event, with a full array of safety protocols required during the COVID-19 pandemic. Show management personnel remain in touch with a team of advisors and partners, should they need to make important decisions related to staging the event, which attracts tens of thousands of attendees from around the world.

Working in the event's favor, is that it is at this time six months away. "This is hopeful, given the time to plan and work with the city to make an in-person event safe and successful. While we cannot give you an exact date that a decision to cancel the 2021AHR Expo will be made, we can promise that we will update you as soon as we have this information," wrote show managers, in a report to the HVACR industry, which can be found HERE, which includes a description of all safety protocols that would be in place should the event occur and event cancellation scenarios.
