At Viega's National Sales Meeting each year, the time comes to recognize the salespeople who have risen above the rest of the group and have proven their mettle during the past year. This year's awards ceremony was no exception.
Viega Top Gun 2007 Winners:
David Walter, regional manager — Texas, was given the highest award, Viega National Top Gun — 2007, for his dedication to Viega and excellent performance this past year. In recognition of his achievements last year, he was promoted to regional manager at the end of 2007.
In addition to Walter, Viega also recognized the following 10 Top Gun Regional Award Winners:
Al Ackel, Viega Top Gun 2007 — Midwest Region, is a manager's dream. He has complete control of his district, is the ultimate team player, and he serves as an excellent role-model and mentor to his fellow teammates.
Ted Atkinson, Viega Top Gun 2007 — Western Region, has secured the largest privately funded job in the country in Las Vegas and is passionate about seeing Viega succeed with all its product lines.
Curtis Dady, Viega Top Gun 2007 — Southern Region, works tirelessly and helps many others throughout the organization unselfishly. He has mentored many new reps and always goes the extra mile.
Dennis Harvey, Viega Top Gun 2007 — Upper Midwest Region, has stepped up to the plate in Colorado and, with very little direction, proceeded to grab ahold of the market, solidify distribution and grow Viega's contractor base across all product lines.
Paul Jappe, Viega Top Gun 2007 — Northeast Region, is known for his persistence and tenacity. Hands down, he was a top performer in 2007.
Sid Medina, Viega Top Gun 2007 — Latin America, always goes above and beyond the call of duty regardless of what project he is working on and is very loyal to Viega.
Jorge Megias, Viega Top Gun 2007 — Southern Region, consistently lands job after job in South Florida and has played a large part in training four new sales staff in the region. He never has to be asked twice.
Scott Ohman, Viega Top Gun 2007 — Pacific Northwest Region, exceeded his year-end sales goals by October. Enough said!
Kevin Sawyer, Viega Top Gun 2007 — Ontario, Canada, has proven his leadership as a mentor to his colleagues in the areas of sales and strategic planning. He was instrumental in bringing on a major Canadian distributor in a third of the time anticipated.
Dave Sutton, Viega Top Gun 2007 — Mid-Atlantic Region, was vital in adding several new distributors this year, especially a large distributor in New Jersey that brought on Viega's three main product lines — ProPress, PureFlow and ProRadiant.
