RAE Coils Announces Price Increase for 2010

RAE Coils, a division of RAE Corporation, is announcing a price increase on all new quotations due to the significant rising costs of copper and aluminum
Jan. 15, 2010

RAE Coils, a division of RAE Corporation, is announcing a price increase on all new quotations due to the significant rising costs of copper and aluminum.

“Despite reduced demand for these materials, commodities are experiencing significant speculative activity. This speculation, combined with the weak U.S. dollar, has resulted in the dramatic increases for copper and aluminum,” said Kevin Trowhill, vice president of sales for RAE Corporation.

The impact of the price increase will vary by product, based upon the amount of copper and aluminum used in the coil. Therefore, it is impossible for RAE to announce an average overall increase.

RAE Corporation, headquartered in Pryor, Okla., is a manufacturer specializing in the production of engineered cooling and refrigeration systems. RAE designs, certifies and manufactures products in four divisions; Century Refrigeration, RAE Coils, Refrigeration Systems and Technical Systems. The RAE goal is to provide properly designed systems that meet the specific needs of their customers. For more information, visit www.RAE-corp.com.
