Heating and cooling manufacturer NORDYNE is going to star in upcoming episodes of “Designing Spaces.” The company’s iQ Drive air conditioner and heat pump are being featured in the show’s “Think Green” segment due the industry-leading energy efficiency.

The iQ Drive segments will air on Lifetime Television on Thursday March 1 and Friday April 6, 2012, at 7:30 a.m. ET. NORDYNE will also make the segment available on its consumer websites and YouTube channel, YouTube.com/NORDYNEU.

iQ Drive air conditioners are rated at up to 24.5 SEER, and the iQ Drive heat pump are up to 22 SEER, making them the most efficient cooling systems available. The technology utilizes inverters to vary the running speed from 40 percent to 118 percent of capacity. In addition to being incredibly quiet, the systems are also manufactured in Poplar Bluff, MO, supporting the local economy.

Contractors and distributors interested in learning more can view the show’s website at designingspaces.tv or the iQ Drive website at iQDrive.net.
