HARDI Appoints New Event Planner

COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 9, 2021– Heating Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) has appointed Dana Maguire as its new event planner.

Maguire is relocating to HARDI's Columbus, Oh. headquarters from Las Vegas, Nev. She brings extensive event planning experience, including 10 years at MGM Resorts International.

"There were several great candidates out there, but Dana had the complete package, including experience working in the hotel industry. Adding her perspective and knowledge to our event planning process will help us make sure we are making the best decisions for our members and the association moving forward. Dana has already hit the ground running and will be at our two summer events -- the Summer Social and Emerging Leaders Conference -- where she will be supporting the events execution and meeting our members" said Director of Marketing and Sales, Chris DeBoer.

Maguire's arrival at HARDI coincides with relaxed meeting protocols by the Center for Disease Control following the pandemic, and as in-person events begin to ramp up again. Maguire is also certified in hybrid event planning, a new area of expertise in the changing world of events. She will be supporting HARDI with event planning and logistics following the retirement of Eileen Mantel.

HARDI members can meet Maguire at the upcoming Summer Social event, June 23-24, in St. Louis, Mo.
