Heating, Airconditioning, and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) is pleased to announce the dates for the 2010 Congressional Fly-In which will be held at the Liaison Hotel, Washington D.C., May 18th and 19th. This will be HARDI’s third Congressional Fly-In in partnership with the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) and will be co-located with HARDI’s 2010 Combined Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting, held May 17th and 18th, 2010.

“The decision to hold our third Fly-In was an easy one given the growth in participation and interest we saw in this year’s Fly-In, and the unprecedented number of issues affecting our members these days,” said HARDI Executive Vice President and C.O.O., Donald Frendberg. 2009’s Congressional Fly-In was the stage for 120 meetings with House and Senate members and featured Congresswoman Melissa Bean’s (IL-8) announcement of the introduction of H.R. 2198, a bill that would reduce the depreciation period for HVACR commercial equipment.

2010’s Congressional Fly-In in partnership with ACCA will again promote the interests of HVACR wholesale distributors and contractors on Capitol Hill and HARDI supplier and service vendor members are always invited and encouraged to participate in support of their distributor partners.
