Emerson and Daikin held a joint press conference on February 4 during the 2020 AHR Exposition, to announce that Daikin's new Rebel Applied packaged rooftop system will feature Emerson’s newest Copeland ZPKZ scroll compressors. This combination provides efficiency that exceeds the new minimum requirements for 2023.

Copeland™ ZPKZ Scroll Compressor
A key piece of Daikin’s Rebel Applied, the next generation of Copeland fixed speed scroll compressors for commercial applications are designed for superior part load efficiency and to reduce customer costs while minimizing complexity. Technology innovations, including a new hermetic motor, unique scroll discharging valve to optimize performance and oil-injection to mitigate heat are allowing these compressors to reach high levels of efficiency and performance.
