HOUSTON — RectorSeal has acquired Duckt-Strip, a U.S.-manufactured electrical cable designed for ductless HVAC system installations.
According to RectorSeal, the Duckt-Strip cable is engineered to simplify installation while meeting key safety and compliance requirements. The product features Rip-n-Strip technology, which integrates conductors into a single cable to support faster installation and reduce handling complexity for contractors.
The cable is designed to separate power and communication lines, helping minimize crosstalk that can impact ductless system performance. It is UL-listed and compliant with National Electrical Code Article 725.136, allowing for in-the-wall and through-the-wall applications.
RectorSeal stated that the acquisition aligns with its strategy to expand product offerings and strengthen its position in both established and emerging HVAC markets. The company plans to leverage its national distribution network to increase availability of the Duckt-Strip solution.
Jeff Underwood, president of RectorSeal, said the acquisition supports the company’s efforts to improve service levels and continue developing solutions for HVAC distributors and contractors.
