F.W. Webb Expands Mid-Atlantic Footprint with New Wholesale Facilities

F.W. Webb is investing in larger facilities, on-site inventory, and contractor services to help trade professionals reduce downtime and complete projects more efficiently.

Why It Matters

  • New warehouses in Whippany, NJ, and Central Islip, NY, expand product access and contractor services across the Northeast.
  • Both locations support faster project completion by reducing travel and procurement times, with multiple ordering options including mobile app, text, and phone.
  • These openings are part of F.W. Webb’s broader regional expansion, including new facilities in Vermont, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, to better serve trade professionals.

BEDFORD, Massachusetts — F.W. Webb Company has opened new wholesale store and warehouse facilities in Whippany, New Jersey, and Central Islip, New York, expanding product availability and contractor services across the Northeast.

The new locations are designed to give HVACR contractors, plumbers, facility managers, and other trade professionals faster access to equipment, replacement parts, and jobsite supplies while reducing travel and procurement time.

The Whippany facility, located at 48 South Jefferson Road, replaces F.W. Webb's former Madison, New Jersey, location. The 27,000-square-foot warehouse stocks plumbing, heating, HVACR, industrial, and institutional products, including condenser units, piping materials, replacement parts, and complete systems.

According to F.W. Webb, the location features a self-service layout, convenient access to Routes 80, 287, and 10, and multiple ordering options, including text, phone, and the company's mobile app for will-call pickup.

"We searched extensively for the right location and arrived at a property that makes us well positioned to serve the skilled trades in Whippany and the surrounding communities," said Bob Mucciarone, COO of F.W. Webb Company.

The Whippany location is staffed by employees from the former Madison branch, and the company said it is hiring for additional positions. Later this year, the site will also add a Frank Webb Home bath, kitchen, and lighting showroom that will replace the existing Madison showroom.

F.W. Webb has also opened a 143,000-square-foot wholesale store and warehouse in Central Islip, New York. The facility stocks more than 20,000 products, including rooftop units, condensers, furnaces, HVACR equipment, plumbing supplies, tools, cleaning products, and replacement parts.

The Central Islip location supports buy-and-go purchasing through phone, text, and mobile app ordering. Contractors can quickly retrieve materials while remaining close to active jobsites.

"We anticipate this new location will be a game changer for our team on Long Island and for our company as a whole," Mucciarone said.

According to the company, the Central Islip facility also offers free local delivery, emergency response service, and hands-on product training covering systems such as wall-hung boilers and high-efficiency HVAC equipment.

Several experienced employees have relocated from F.W. Webb's West Babylon location, while the company continues hiring for sales, warehouse, inventory, and other positions. The West Babylon facility will remain open as it undergoes renovations to expand its fire sprinkler fabrication capabilities.

The two openings are part of F.W. Webb's broader regional expansion strategy. Earlier this year, the company opened a wholesale location in Somerdale, New Jersey, and a new facility in Middlebury, Vermont, while relocating operations to modern facilities in Whippany, New Jersey, and Queensbury, New York. The company also plans to open a second central distribution facility in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, next year and update its Centereach, New York, location in the coming months.

For HVACR contractors, the expanded facilities increase access to equipment, replacement parts, training, and pickup services intended to keep projects on schedule and reduce time spent sourcing materials.
