DULUTH, Georgia — DiversiTech Corporation has acquired DITEK, a U.S. manufacturer specializing in surge protection design and manufacturing, the companies announced.

The acquisition combines DiversiTech’s HVACR installation, repair, and maintenance product portfolio with DITEK’s surge protection products and technical expertise. The companies said the combined organization will serve the electrical, fire and life safety, networking, HVAC, and security markets.

DITEK’s capabilities include surge protection design, product development, and manufacturing. The company’s portfolio complements DiversiTech’s established HVACR product offerings.

The companies said the acquisition will allow them to leverage their combined scale, expertise, and capabilities. DiversiTech’s service, support, and distribution network will also provide DITEK with expanded reach.

DITEK Chief Executive Officer Wendy Gattis said the company will continue focusing on surge protection solutions and technical support while using DiversiTech’s resources to expand its reach.
