Navien Expands HVAC Product Lineup, Launching NAZ Heat Pump, NAS Air Handlers, and NAM Cased Coils
Navien announced the launch of three new additions to its rapidly growing HVAC product portfolio: the NAZ Air-to-Air Heat Pump, NAS Air Handlers, and NAM Cased Coils. These high-efficiency products round out Navien’s lineup of home comfort HVAC solutions and are designed to seamlessly integrate with the NPF Hydro-furnace, introduced in 2023, enabling flexible dual-fuel and all-electric system configurations.
The NAZ Air-to-Air Heat Pump is engineered to deliver powerful performance with SEER2 ratings up to 19.0, thanks to its inverter-driven capacity matching technology. Two SKUs cover a wide capacity range from 1.5 to 5 tons for simplified installation. Key features include:
- Operates with conventional 1- or 2-stage thermostats;
- Long line set lengths - up to 100 feet;
- Pre-charged for 25 feet, with built-in charge assist;
- Bluetooth connectivity via the Navien MultiKit app;
- Low-GWP R-454B refrigerant for reduced environmental impact;
- Sound levels as low as 56 dBA;
- Adaptive defrost with field-selectable options;
- Operating range: -4°F to 124°F ambient; and
- Gold fin coil coating and rugged construction for long life.
The NAS air handlers are available in 2-5 ton capacities and feature a multi-position design. One model supports upflow, horizontal, or downflow configurations with an optional kit, making them ideal for a wide range of installation needs. Designed for use with low-GWP R-454B refrigerant, they include a factory-installed refrigerant detection system for enhanced safety and compliance. With aluminum coil construction, quiet variable-speed SECM or ECM blower motors, and compatibility with 5–20kW electric heat kits, the NAS line delivers reliable performance, easy installation, and year-round comfort.
The NAM cased coils also support 2-5 ton applications and are designed for seamless integration with Navien outdoor units and the NPF Hydro-furnace, making them an excellent choice for dual-fuel systems. These coils feature multi-position flexibility, are AHRI-matched and certified, and include a factory-installed TXV and A2L refrigerant leak sensor for quicker, code-compliant installations. Built to last, each unit is leak-tested and pressurized before shipment, while germicidal light compatibility supports enhanced indoor air quality.
With the addition of the NAZ, NASV, and NAM products, Navien now offers a full HVAC product line, empowering contractors to design and install all-electric or hybrid heating and cooling systems with confidence and ease. To learn more about Navien HVAC products, visit www.navieninc.com.
