Resideo introduced the Honeywell Home Whole Home Dehumidifier, designed to meet growing demand for flexible installation options and simplified serviceability in residential HVAC systems. Developed with input from HVAC installers and distribution partners, the unit supports evolving home construction and system design needs.

The tri-directional outlet allows for horizontal, vertical, or right-angle installation, helping contractors complete jobs faster and fit the system into tight spaces such as attics, closets, or existing ductwork. The dehumidifier is available in 65-, 90-, and 120-pints-per-day (PPD) models to support a range of home sizes and humidity control needs.

The Honeywell Home Whole Home Dehumidifier simplifies maintenance and reduces service time, featuring:

  • Easy access: Standard MERV 8 filters and all major components are accessible for inspection and replacement;

  • Modular construction: Contractors can replace any of the 19 individual components without changing the entire unit; and

  • Magnet-mounted controller: The onboard display can be positioned for easy access, streamlining setup, control, and diagnostics.

Built-in sensors monitor temperature, humidity, and differential pressure at both the inlet and outlet to automatically adjust operation and extend product life. A water leak detection rope is included to automatically shut down the system in case of leaks, helping prevent water damage.

The 90- and 120-PPD models include a two-in-one system for dehumidification and ventilation, supporting timed ventilation, damper management, and smart compressor activation based on outdoor air conditions. The 90-PPD model delivers high energy efficiency, while the 65-PPD model is the only unit in its class to earn ENERGY STAR certification, helping homeowners reduce energy costs and contractors meet energy compliance standards.
