Samsung HVAC North America LLC introduced the next-generation Hylex heat pump, engineered to deliver reliable heating in cold and variable climates across the Northeast. The system is designed to support electrification efforts while providing contractors and homeowners with efficient, flexible, and connected heating solutions.

Hylex delivers 100% heating capacity at –4°F and maintains high heating operation down to –13°F, offering a viable alternative to fossil-fuel heating in colder regions. Key features include:

  • Dual-Fuel Capability: Supports a secondary heat source for extreme conditions;

  • Inverter-Driven Compressor: Optimizes energy efficiency across varying temperatures; and

  • Consistent Operation: Maintains performance in demanding cold-weather environments.

The system accommodates multiple configurations for contractor convenience:

  • Compatible with Hylex MPAH or Hylex A-Coil for fully matched setups;

  • Supports coil-only applications with major AHRI-listed manufacturers;

  • Can reuse existing line sets, piping, wiring, and insulation, reducing installation complexity; and

  • Compact footprint and wall-mount options suitable for zero-lot-line or dense residential sites.
