METUS Introduces Residential Ducted Lossnay Unit for Whole-Home Ventilation

Designed for residential use, this quiet ERV system features adjustable airflow, high-efficiency filters, and robust performance in cold climates, making it ideal for maintaining healthy indoor environments.

The Residential Ducted Lossnay by Mitsubishi Electric provides a continuous supply of filtered outside air, can help dilute indoor contaminant concentrations, and offers humidity control and year-round comfort. This Home Ventilating Institute (HVI) certified Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) is designed to reduce containment concentrations of the conditioned air while providing continuous whole-home ventilation.

This whisper-quiet Lossnay unit integrates into new or existing HVAC ductwork, delivering a steady supply of outside air to living spaces. Available with either a MERV 10 filter or an optional MERV 14 filter, the system can dilute indoor contaminant concentrations by filtering incoming air before it enters a room. The unit's selectable airflow settings, ranging from 40 to 110 cfm, provide flexibility for a variety of home sizes and residential ventilation requirements.

Designed with installation flexibility in mind, the compact unit measures less than 9.5" high and 20" wide, making it well suited for a variety of residential applications. The unit can be mounted between joists, fixed directly to a ceiling, suspended from a ceiling, or mounted horizontally on a wall. An integrated access port simplifies commissioning by allowing contractors to easily measure pressure and balance airflow.

Built for reliable performance in challenging climates, the Residential Ducted Lossnay unit combines advanced energy recovery technology with intelligent defrost control to support ventilation performance in outdoor temperatures as low as -13° F. This cold-climate capability helps homeowners and renters maintain access to filtered outdoor air across a wide range of environmental conditions while protecting system performance during periods of extreme cold.
