New Ball Valve Features Uni-body Design
Superior Refrigeration Products, Washington, PA, has released the KarolTech™ series of ball valves. The valve is designed to be compatible with current and ozone-friendly natural refrigerants, while incorporating the latest's advancements in manufacturing technology. The patented KarolTech™ ball valves feature Superiors' exclusive KAM uni-body design, that eliminates 75% of the potential leak areas associated with typical older designs. It's currently offered in sizes from ¼-in. to 1-1/8-in. ODS, with and without access fittings. The valve is suitable for temperature ratings from -40 to +300F. The KarolTech™ design allows for working pressures up to 700 PSIG. The valve is UL, C-UL and CE compliant.
