    Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) now offers a series of training CDs and DVDs developed by Jim and Peggy Johnson of Technical Training Associates (TTA), based in Sahuarita, AZ. Jim Johnson authors a monthly Troubleshooting column in the RSES Journal.

    RSES sources say the information will benefit entry-level HVACR students as well as established contractors, service technicians, and engineers.

    Manitowoc Repeats EnergyStar Award
    For the second consecutive year, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has named Manitowoc Foodservice as an EnergyStar® Partner of the Year for its outstanding contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by manufacturing energy-efficient products and helping to educate consumers about those products.

    Manitowoc Foodservice currently participates in seven EnergyStar categories, including ice machines, and solid door refrigerators. More than 200 Manitowoc Foodservice products have earned the EnergyStar rating.

    More than 20,000 organizations are EnergyStar partners committed to improving the energy efficiency of products, homes, buildings, and businesses. EnergyStar was introduced by EPA in 1992 as a voluntary, market-based partnership to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants associated with energy use.
