HVACR certification organization North American Technician Excellence (NATE) in partnership with APR Supply Co. and the National Association of Oil and Energy Service Professionals (OESP) are offering free oil furnace and oil hydronics certification testing for registered attendees of the OESP Convention and Trade Show in Hershey, PA, May 19-23.
To help prepare technicians for the oil furnace and oil hydronics certification tests, there will be a review course on May 21, 2013 from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. led by 38-year veteran Eddie Howell of APR Supply Co. OESP Convention attendees may take the NATE Core or another NATE specialty exam at a discount of $100 each. Exams are also on May 21, at 1:00 p.m.
Candidates can earn installation and/or service certification in 11 specialty areas: air conditioning, air distribution, heat pumps, gas heating, oil heating, hydronics gas, hydronics oil, commercial refrigeration, light commercial refrigeration, ground source heat pump and senior efficiency analyst.
