NEWARK, DE, November 1, 2022 – Strikepoint Group Holdings (SGH), formerly Horizon Group Holdings, one of the largest and most referred home services companies in the United States, recently announced that it has acquired Kagel’s Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., a full-service residential HVAC contractor serving customers in New Jersey’s Mercer and Burlington Counties.

Headquartered in Bordentown, New Jersey, Kagel’s has provided residents in and around the community with quality heating and air conditioning service since 1991. The company’s team of licensed heating & air conditioning technicians and installers receive thorough and up-to-date training.

“We strongly believe that a company is only as good as its people, and our people have made us one of the most trusted and respected heating and air conditioning contractors in Bordentown and surrounding communities,” said Joseph R. Kagel, Sr., owner of Kagel’s Heating & Air Conditioning. “I know that a partnership with Strikepoint will help our business and employees continue to grow and thrive in the years to come.”

The company will continue to operate under the flagship Horizon Services brand, SGH’s leading provider of comprehensive AC, heating, and plumbing services with more than 30 years of industry expertise. Horizon currently operates in five states – Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and North Carolina.

“We are thrilled that Joseph Kagel chose us to carry on his legacy of service and commitment to customer service in the Mercer and Burlington County areas,” said Charlie Haines, CEO of SGH. “Joseph built an incredible business with an outstanding culture, and we’re excited to partner with this business while expanding our service coverage area.”

Campbell Comfort Systems will operate under SGH’s Hutchinson brand, a preeminent heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and energy service brand based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, with a presence throughout the Greater Philadelphia metropolitan area.

“I have always been focused on serving the needs of my customers first,” said owner Bill Campbell. “Partnering with Strikepoint will ensure that the company I worked so hard to grow over the last 30 years will continue to provide the same exceptional level of service to our customers and take care of employees well into the future.” The company prides itself on its team of highly skilled, North American Technician Excellence (NATE)-certified technicians who are committed to serving customers with honesty and trust.
