Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc., a business of Emerson, recently served as a Silver Sponsor in the third annual RSC WholeServer “Beach Party Blast” Open House at RSC’s Valley View, Ohio headquarters, just south of Cleveland.
With 12 locations in northern and-mid Ohio and western Pennsylvania, RSC marked its 70th year in the HVAC/R business with more than 500 contractors and guests and more than 75 sponsors. The “Beach Party Blast” included live entertainment, prizes, refreshments and sponsor product exhibits. Guests were asked to bring non-perishable food or make donations for local donation on behalf of the Health Professions Affinity Community (HPAC).
Emerson Climate Technologies Refrigeration participated in the product exhibit, featuring the X-Line Copeland ScrollT Outdoor Condensing Units for refrigeration applications. While Emerson Area Sales Manager Alan Byers and District Sales Manager Dave Shanabarger discussed the X-Line with contractors, they also invited attendees to participate in a Pop-A-Shot basketball contest. Prizes included gasoline gift cards and the donation of the Pop-A-Shot game in the name of the contest’s top scorer to the Youth Group of St. Adalbert’s Church, Cleveland.
“Partnerships with folks like Emerson Climate Technologies are important, and we appreciate their participation in both the open house and their willingness to help underprivileged youth,” said Doug Wight, vice president, sales and marketing, RSC. “This was a great opportunity for a supplier and a wholesaler to work together to help our customers understand the benefits of their refrigeration products, help a worthy cause and have some fun.”
“We met a lot of great people who showed interest in the X-Line Outdoor Condensing Units – plus we found some great basketball players,” said Emerson’s Alan Byers. “It was a great day of fellowship and friendship, and we’re proud to have had the opportunity to join with RSC and its guests to celebrate seven decades of success.”
