SMACNA recognizes Air Systems with 1st place safety award

San Jose, Calif.  – Air Systems, Inc. was recently recognized with a 1^st Place 2014 Safety Excellence Award for “lowest injury and illness rate in the over 500,000 man-hour category”  during 2013 from the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association (SMACNA). This is the highest level recognized by the organization and is the third major safety award Air Systems has received from SMACNA since 2011.

“Air Systems’ 2014 1^st Place national SMACNA award is the result of achieving zero injuries during the 2013 calendar year in the 500,000-plus man-hours worked category,” said Art Williams, president of Air Systems. "We’re extremely proud of this recognition, our third SMACNA safety award in the past four years.
