Recruiting new talent? Looking for a new HVACR position? Try this new source: HVACR-Jobs.com. It's very user-friendly, and allows HVACR contractors, distributors, and manufacturers to post job openings, and invite resumes to be submitted for those positions. Technicians, managers, and office personnel seeking jobs in the HVACR industry to post their resumes and seek out employment opportunities. The website offers free resume browsing, and an unlimited number of job postings, reportedly for the lowest price in the industry. HVAC contractor Mark Veilleux developed the site for his own use. When he saw how well it worked, he decided to offer it to other contractors.

Smith won based on its high number of nominations, representation, new product development, and its ability to maintain a strong vendor/customer relationship during its struggles with debilitating flood damage at the company's Ashland City, TN, facility in 2010.
Danfoss announced that Smardt Chiller Group Inc.is the Danfoss “EnVisioneer of the Year.” Smardt installed three, 560-ton water-cooled chillers integrated with Kiltech controls at the Goodyear, AZ manufacturing facility of Sub-Zero, manufacturer of high-end refrigeration equipment. The chiller plant provides chilled water for the entire 452,000-square-foot facility and includes six variable-speed water pumps and three cooling towers.

Good breakthrough for NATE: North American Technician Excellence announced that the Building Performance Institute (BPI) is now accepting NATE certification as one of its eligibility options for accreditation of HVAC contractors.
Registration is now open for ASHRAE's 2012 Annual Conference, June 23-27 in San Antonio. The technical program will feature tracks on integrated energy systems, and building modeling, refrigeration, and indoor environmental applications. General tracks address HVACR systems and equipment, and fundamentals and applications.
Tappan contractors can offer homeowners big savings this spring with the “Go Green, Save Green” instant rebate. The rebate is valid on the brand's ecoLogic systems purchased between April 1, 2012, and June 30, 2012, including the 24.5 SEER iQ Drive air conditioner and heat pump.
