ACR Supply, Siemens Work Together for Charity

ACR Supply Company, Inc., Durhanm, NC, and Siemens Building Technologies have established a summer promotional partnership in an effort to give back to ACR’s local community of Durham. ACR Supply will donate to the local Ronald McDonald House Charity (RMHC) as part of the promotional program, “Grow for the Greater Good,” designed by Siemens and the HVACR controls distributor group, Controls Group North America (CGNA).
As a member of CGNA, ACR Supply must meet or exceed their annual Siemens targeted product sales goal by the end of August. If ACR Supply meets their goal, they will be eligible for a chance to donate their cash winnings to a local charity or non-profit organization of their choice. The program ends on August 31. At that time, the top performing CGNA HVACR distributors will gain automatic entry into the Grand Prize Give-Away, a $10,000 charitable contribution by Siemens to the winning distributor’s favorite charity or local cause.
If ACR attains its first round goal, they will donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charity of Durham. Inspired by the experience of a family friend and the needs and sacrifices of other families with critically ill children, Troy Meachum, general manager of ACR, and the company have been working with Ronald McDonald Charities for almost two years. The company initiated the “Angel Tree Project,” a program that ACR employees and customers participate in every Christmas in order to provide gifts for the children at the local Ronald McDonald House. ACR Supply also participates regularly in fund raising events and golf tournaments to benefit the Ronald McDonald House organization.
Meachum noted, “We're delighted to be working with Siemens to elevate awareness of community causes like the Ronald McDonald House to a much needed, higher level," says Meachum. The “Grow for the Greater Good” promotion was launched at the beginning of June and will end August 31st. Siemens will announce the winner of the grand prize drawing in September.
