Danfoss, a leading manufacturer of high-efficiency components and controls for air-conditioning, heating, refrigeration, industrial, and water systems, has been named a winner in the 2016 Be Inspired Awards for its Danfoss Enterprise Services platform. Bentley Systems, a leading global provider of comprehensive software solutions for advancing infrastructure, hosted its annual Be Inspired Awards to honor the extraordinary work of Bentley users advancing infrastructure design, construction, and operations throughout the world.

Left to right: Alan Kiraly, Senior Vice President, Asset Performance, Bentley Systems; Richard Ruth, Product Manager – Services, Danfoss; and Sandra DiMatteo, Director of Marketing – Asset Performance, Bentley Systems.

Awarded for “Innovation in Asset Performance,” Danfoss Enterprise Services is a cloud-based service delivery platform tailored to supermarket and other food-retail applications that collects a range of data points from connected devices to provide powerful insight into nearly every aspect of HVACR operations, energy management, and food safety.

Danfoss Enterprise Services provides real-time, actionable information to monitor equipment alarms, compressor status, refrigerant levels and leaks, and food temperatures. Other services are also available for energy baselining and benchmarking usage, utility demand response programs, and remote assist to increase energy efficiency and savings.

This service helps facility personnel, store owners and management make fast decisions to maximize energy efficiencies and cost savings, optimize food safety, and reduce environmental footprint by utilizing connected devices and analytics.

“We are extremely honored to be recognized with this prestigious award,” said Richard Ruth, Danfoss product manager – services, who accepted the award on behalf of Danfoss. “Danfoss is committed to the ongoing development of innovative technologies and services that help our customers optimize their systems—whether they’re looking to improve energy efficiency, reduce their environmental footprint, or simply reach new levels of performance. Danfoss Enterprise Services goes beyond common monitoring and reporting services to provide a comprehensive and customizable solution that utilizes connected technologies to envelop an entire operation and ensure optimal performance and protection.”

The 18 Be Inspired Award winners were named during Bentley’s Year in Infrastructure 2016 Conference in London. Winners were chosen by an independent panel of 10 jurors, comprising distinguished industry experts. There were more than 300 nominations by organizations in 80 countries.
