A major Sporlan product message is the continued success of ZoomLock, the flame-free refrigerant fitting solution.
"ZoomLock allows you to install system piping without brazing. No torches and no flames. It also allows 50 percent savings on installations," Schmalz said.
More than 2 million ZoomLock fittings have been made.
Schmalz also mentioned the ZoomLock Roadshow, which has two trucks traveling the country to provide training. ZoomLock demonstrations were provided throughout the Expo, too.
Another product of interest this year are Sporlan's case control solutions for the supermarket industry.
"We are helping younger technicians build their skill sets," Schmalz said. "We're trying to understand how can we help them trouble shoot problems easier. A lot of that is through iPhones and iPads; how we can provide system conditions, diagnose the problem and bring that to them through the mobile device?"
And, he said more training options are on the way!
