O'Connor Company Acquires Hunton's Oklahoma Business

Lenexa, KS – July 9, 2019O’Connor Company, a leading Midwest-based heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) distributor has acquired the assets of the Oklahoma City branch of Hunton Distribution.

The Oklahoma City location will operate under the O’Connor name and offer Trane heating and air conditioning equipment. This addition will give O’Connor sole distribution rights for Trane throughout the state of Oklahoma.  

 “O’Connor has a long history of serving the people of eastern Oklahoma—operating in the Tulsa market since 1934. With the addition of our 7th branch in Oklahoma City, we are excited to be serving the entire state in addition to Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa,” said O’Connor President Greg Borr.

 “The purchase of the Oklahoma City branch from Hunton is part of our long-term strategy to expand our platform through acquisitions,” added Borr. “We are excited to welcome Hunton Distribution’s Oklahoma customers and employees.”

O’Connor is a Munch’s Supply Company. Operating as Munch’s Supply, O’Connor Company, Tommark and Comfort Air Distributing, the company’s total geographic footprint now includes 28 locations serving 10 states.

O’Connor Company was founded in 1920 by Joe O’Connor to offer customers steam and hot water heating equipment, controls and accessories. Today, the company has more than 130 employees focused exclusively on supplying heating and cooling industry contractors with quality products.
