Lennox Signs Agreement to Acquire Heat Controller

DALLAS — Lennox has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Heat Controller, an HVAC equipment supplier serving distributors across North America through its Comfort-Aire and Century brands.

According to Lennox, the acquisition is intended to expand its ability to serve small and mid-size HVAC distributors while broadening its equipment offerings and increasing its presence in the North American HVAC market.

Heat Controller distributes a range of HVAC equipment through its established distributor network. Lennox said the company is known for its product portfolio, equipment availability, brand recognition, and customer service capabilities.

"Heat Controller and its Comfort-Aire and Century brands strengthen how we serve our distributor partners with flexibility and exceptional customer service," said Alok Maskara, CEO of Lennox. "Together, we see meaningful opportunities to support our distributor partners."

The acquisition adds the Comfort-Aire and Century brands to Lennox's portfolio and is expected to create additional opportunities with distributors throughout North America.

Philip Windham, CEO of Heat Controller, said joining Lennox will support the company's next phase of growth.

"Lennox's scale, operational strength, and focus on customer experience position us to expand our offering and continue delivering the flexibility, availability, and service our distributor partners depend on," Windham said.

Lennox stated that the transaction is expected to close later in 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

For HVAC contractors, the acquisition reflects continued consolidation within the industry and highlights manufacturers' efforts to expand product availability and distribution channels across North America.
