Washington, D.C. —The Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) announced  on September 10 that the technical program for its annual meeting will be available in a virtual format, using live and recorded presentations. This will enable AABC Members and the wider industry to partake in the association’s highly regarded education program. Attendees will earn up to eight AIA continuing education learning units (LUs).

The event launches on October 21 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern with Digital Transformation in The Building Industry, by ASHRAE President Charles Gulledge, III. The presentation describes a future industry in which building data is transformed into knowledge that is shared with all its stakeholders in an insightful and actionable manner. Subsequent AABC Virtual Webinar Series programs include (all times Eastern):• New Methods to Verify Proper Functioning of Modern Fume Hood Systems Thomas C. Smith, 3Flow. A look at new technologies to control and modulate airflow with new fume hood design features. Asks the hard question: how we can mitigate the economic and social upheaval associated with this pandemic, while hardening our building indoor air quality against future pandemics. (Nov. 11, 1:00 p.m.)
