ITASCA, Illinois Fellowes Brands, a provider of commercial air quality management (AQM) systems, announced the launch of a new continuing education units (CEU) course designed to help HVAC professionals address today’s most pressing indoor air quality (IAQ) challenges.

Titled “Beyond HVAC: Holistic Strategies for Enhancing IAQ in Commercial Environments,” the course offers timely guidance on today’s IAQ threats and strategies to improve indoor environments through responsive design and technology. Developed in partnership with AEC Daily, a leading industry provider of continuing education, the course is accredited by 29 professional associations serving architects, engineers, construction professionals and more.

“The indoor air quality landscape is evolving rapidly as environmental threats, like wildfire smoke, grow more widespread and frequent, and as building inhabitants become more educated about the quality of the air they breathe,” said Jason Jones, director of air quality management at Fellowes Brands. “This course not only presents the latest data, it also equips HVAC professionals with practical tools to ensure the indoor environments they manage are as safe and healthy as possible.”

The free, self-paced course helps to meet IAQ credit requirements for LEED v5 (Building Design and Construction, Interior Design and Construction, and Building Operations and Management), as well as the WELL Building Standard version 2. It takes approximately one hour to complete.
