Viega North America officially opened its new $178 million, 244,000-square-foot manufacturing and training facility in Mantua, Ohio. The fully electrified, carbon-neutral plant will produce ProPress fittings and eventually MegaPress, while also serving as a major training hub with classrooms, workshops, and viewing access to the production floor. Built with sustainability at its core, the facility is on track for LEED Gold certification and features energy-efficient systems, natural lighting, and water conservation measures. Beyond its green design, the project strengthens Viega’s North American footprint, creates local jobs, and expands hands-on learning opportunities for contractors across the plumbing and HVACR industries.
