BDR University Fall Courses Equip HVAC Contractors for Growth

This season's courses include practical training on reading financial statements, sales excellence, leadership development, installation skills, and customer experience, designed to empower teams and improve business outcomes.

SEATTLEBusiness Development Resources (BDR) has announced its fall schedule of BDR University courses for contractors in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical industries. The training program is designed to help contractors strengthen financial knowledge, improve sales, and deliver better customer service.

The interactive virtual courses are open to business owners, managers, installers, sales staff, technicians, and dispatchers. Each session is taught by an experienced trainer and focuses on practical strategies for improving business performance.

Key courses in the fall lineup include:

  • How to Read Your Balance Sheet (Sept. 25), focused on turning financial statements into a management tool;

  • Top Gun Sales Excellence (Oct. 2-3), offering a customer-education-based sales process to increase revenue and closing rates;

  • Creating the Next Generation of Company Managers (Oct. 9), providing leadership skills for employees moving into management roles;

  • Top Gun Installer Excellence (Oct. 16), equipping installers with communication and process skills to improve installation results; and

  • Customer Experience University (Oct. 22-23), helping teams improve service quality and customer trust.

Registration for these and other fall courses is now open through BDR University and the BDRU+ program, which offers flexible workforce development options for companies of all sizes.

According to Matt MacArthur, senior vice president of training and marketing at BDR, the fall season is an important time for contractors to invest in their teams. “BDRU courses are designed to provide the kind of high-value learning opportunity that businesses need to drive profits and scale,” he said.
