tekmar Launches Smart Boiler Control
tekmar announced the launch of the Smart Boiler Control 294BAC, giving engineers, contractors, and building owners a tekmar boiler control option for projects that require BACnet communication.
BACnet is increasingly specified as part of commercial building control systems. The 294BAC addresses that requirement by adding native BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP communication to the proven functionality of the Smart Boiler Control 294, enabling integration with building automation systems (BAS), building management systems (BMS) and third-party analytics platforms.
Designed to manage up to four boilers and expandable to 16, the 294BAC supports both condensing and non-condensing boiler plants. The control uses intelligent staging and outdoor reset control to optimize system performance and provides remote monitoring and notifications through Nexa by Watts.
With native BACnet connectivity, customers can integrate boiler system data into BAS and BMS platforms, connect with third-party monitoring and analytics solutions, and meet project specifications requiring BACnet while maintaining Smart Boiler Control features and user experience.
