HVAC Comfortech 2008 got off to a rousing start yesterday in the Georgia World Congress Center. “Comfortech Action News” featured the talents of Contracting Business editor-in-chief, executive editor Terry McIver, and associate editor Kate Hoban. The three departed from their usual print publishing roles to serve as broadcast reporters delivering an overview of Comfortech 2008 from the stage of the Sidney Marcus Auditorium. On hand to help with the reporting was Matt Michel, CEO of The Service Roundtable, Dallas, TX. The reporting was supplemented with video and music, as the news team thanked the many sponsors of Comfortech, reported on the many seminars to be held during the show’s four days, and invited the many attendees to special events and parties. Later in the day, approximately 100 contractors attended the Comfortech "First Timers" Meeting. Contracting Business editor-in-chief Mike Weil and Matt Michel, CEO of The Service Roundtable provided contractors with some tips on how to get the most out of HVAC Comfortech.
