New President for Marsden Divisions

ST. PAUL, Minn. (October 24, 2023) – Marsden Services, L.L.C., a St. Paul-based facility services provider, announced today that it has hired Derrick Gorden as president of Marsden’s Integrated Facility and Mechanical Services divisions. Gorden will be responsible for the ongoing operations of Marsden’s integrated facility offering and mechanical services which include HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services.

“We are thrilled to have Derrick joining Marsden,” said Chris Hillman, chief operating officer of Marsden Services. “Derrick has decades of experience with complex service models and is an expert when it comes to managing field operations and mobile teams. He is going to bring a great perspective into this role. The integrated facility and mechanical services business line is a sophisticated and complicated operational process, and Derrick is going to do an incredible job of helping us refine and expand our program to provide comprehensive care to our clients.”

Gorden brings more than 20 years of experience leading teams in both private equity and public corporations in the retail, ecommerce and consumer industries. Prior to joining Marsden, Gorden held multiple leadership roles at Lifetouch, Inc., most recently serving as the Vice President of Sales, Operations and Photography. He was responsible for a workforce of 6,000 employees in North America who serviced 30,000 accounts worth more than $500 million in revenue. 

Gorden has successfully implemented organizational transformations through improving processes, standardizing structures, and integrating technology. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a focus on improving the client experience, executing critical innovations, and launching new initiatives while driving business growth, creating systematic methodologies, eliminating obstacles, and leading effective teams. Gorden holds a BS in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse.
