The WELL Building Standard (WELL) is the first protocol of its kind to focus on human wellness within the built environment. It is a performance-based certification system that focuses on the health and wellness of the people in buildings by marrying best practices in design and construction with evidence-based medical and scientific research.
Ms. Skolnik is already a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), Green Globes Professional (GGP), and CEM (Certified Energy Manager). ESD is currently providing engineering solutions on projects attempting WELL certification, such as complex features to air quality and distribution, water quality, thermal comfort, and monitoring and displaying of information.
