Learn Niagara Software; Seats Going Fast!

Intro course by Cochrane Supply includes an overview of BAS systems, Niagara, and the Java Application Control Engine.

Cochrane Supply, Cleveland, Oh., reports there are a small number of seats left for its introductory virtual course for Niagara Software: July 26-28, 8:00am-5:00pm EST.

The virtual course will start with a light overview of  building automation systems, and quickly move on to answer the question: "What is Niagara?" The class will review the JACE (Java Application Control Engine) hardware, show users how to explore Niagara WorkBench in a web browser, discuss protocols and why and how
they are applied in Niagara. The class will include hands-on labs to allow users to see how devices can be brought into the software, a demo of how control loops work and can be manipulated, and how wire sheet programming works in real time. Scheduling and alarming will be covered also, as well as some basic troubleshooting steps. Cost is $900.

Certification Course | Tridium Niagara 4 Technical Training Class July 12-16; Aug. 2-6; Aug.16-20 | 8:00am-5:00pm EST | Virtual Training Course | $2,500 The goal of the five-day, Niagara 4 Technical Certification Course is to educate students to a basic level of technical expertise to effectively and efficiently design, engineer, and program projects using the Niagara 4 Framework. Live demonstrations and remote access to lab panels will allow the instructor-led virtual learning experience to be as close to the in-person experience as possible. Students who pass the testing at the end of the class will be Niagara 4 Certified and will receive an official Tridium Niagara 4 certificate and 4 CEUs.

Introductory Course | The Fundamentals of HVAC and Electricity, August 9-11, 8:00am-5:00pm EST | Virtual Training Course | $650 This class is designed to explain components of heating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and mechanical equipment. Students should expect to learn about the history of HVAC and how systems have evolved over time. The class will also review the types of mechanical equipment found in buildings, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units (AHUs), variable air volume (VAV) systems, dampers, and an intro to controls and electricity. Learn about how building automation systems (BAS) are used in today's buildings to control the HVAC, mechanical, and electrical equipment.

Certification Course | Tridium Niagara 4 Advanced Level 2 Training September 13-17, 8:00am-5:00pm EST | Virtual Training Course | $2,500 | 4 Seats Left! This Level 2 course will educate students to an advanced level of technical expertise to effectively and efficiently design, engineer, and program "cyber-secure", enterprise-wide, supervisor projects using the Niagara 4 Framework. Learn how to migrate existing Niagara AX stations to the Niagara 4 model and creating Niagara 4 station databases. This class will mirror the actual steps a student may take in the field to develop existing projects. There will be Advanced Niagara 4 Certification testing on the final day of the class.
