TAMPA, Florida — The Rocket Group announced a partnership with TLS Air Conditioning & Insulation, marking the company’s first expansion into Florida and its 13th acquisition overall.
TLS is a Southwest Florida provider of insulation and HVAC-related services for residential and light commercial properties. Rocket Group said the partnership extends its national network into one of the country’s fastest-growing markets.
Founded in 2015, TLS has grown from a two-person operation into a business that has served more than 50,000 homes across Florida. The company provides attic insulation, blown-in insulation, duct sealing, and batt insulation.
Rocket Group said it will launch a dedicated HVAC division within TLS. The new offering will include air conditioning installation, repair, and maintenance for existing Southwest Florida customers. The company also said it is hiring experienced technicians to support the expansion.
TLS currently serves homeowners in Tampa, Sarasota, Cape Coral, North Port, and Punta Gorda. According to the announcement, its technicians have helped customers reduce heating and cooling costs by up to 15% and lower total energy use by about 11% annually.
The company operates six locations and has more than 30 SOP-trained technicians. Rocket Group also said TLS maintains an exclusive contractor relationship with Duke Energy and Florida Power and Light, allowing homeowners access to utility-backed rebates for qualifying energy efficiency upgrades.
Rocket Group said the partnership adds Florida to its growing list of operating states. The company said it continues to seek partnerships with home service businesses that have established local brands and growth ambitions.
