ATLANTA — Rheem Manufacturing Company sponsored the VETLANTA Q3 Summit on Sept. 8, supporting connections between veterans and businesses in the Atlanta community.
The sponsorship provided free attendance for hundreds of veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses. Attendees connected with business leaders, hiring managers, and veteran-owned businesses to explore opportunities supporting veterans in Atlanta.
Ben Pellegrini, vice president and deputy general counsel at Rheem Manufacturing Company and a U.S. Army veteran, spoke at the event. He highlighted the role veterans play in the trades community.
Pellegrini noted that many veterans enter the trades after gaining technical experience during military service. He said they also bring leadership, discipline, and other skills to the workforce.
Veterans are represented throughout Rheem, from its manufacturing facilities to its Atlanta headquarters and executive leadership team. CEO Chris Peel is also a veteran.
