ACCA Marks Learning and Development Month with Free Training

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia — For HVAC contractors who have ever thought about joining the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), October is the month to do it. Throughout Learning and Development Month, members get select live virtual trainings at no cost.
The sessions run throughout the month and cover technical skills, business management, customer service, and leadership. They're open to owners, managers, technicians, and office staff at every member company. Contractors who join ACCA in October can start attending right away.
"Good training shouldn't be out of reach for any contractor," said Martin Hoover, ACCA interim president and CEO, and longtime member of ACCA. "We know how hard it is to pull people off jobs and pay for outside courses. ACCA membership puts live, expert training in front of your whole team at no extra cost. If contractors have been thinking about joining, this is a great month to do it."
New equipment, shifting refrigerant rules, and higher customer expectations mean contractors and their teams need to keep their skills sharp. Helping employees grow and become better at their jobs is one of the best ways contractors can build and keep a strong team.
The October trainings are just one part of what ACCA membership offers. Members also get a voice in Washington, as well as access to a nationwide network of contractors across the country.
"When you join ACCA, you're joining a community of contractors who want to run better businesses and raise the bar for the whole industry," Hoover said. "You don't have to figure it all out alone."

Residential HVAC for Office and Sales Staff — Oct. 15 at 11 a.m. ET
Whole Home Humidification — Oct. 19 at 8 a.m. ET
Inspecting Heat Exchangers — Oct. 22 at 8 a.m. ET
Proper Manual J Survey Techniques — Oct. 27 at 8 a.m. ET
