Hudson Technologies Awarded Multi-Year Contract to Provide Refrigerants to U.S. Armed Forces
WOODCLIFF LAKE, New Jersey — Hudson Technologies, Inc. has been awarded a new contract valued at approximately $210 million from the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to continue supplying refrigerants, compressed gases, cylinders, and related materials to U.S. military and federal facilities. The five-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract includes an additional five-year renewal option.
Hudson Technologies is one of the nation’s largest refrigerant reclaimers and a leading provider of sustainable refrigerant solutions for the HVACR industry. The company has served as prime contractor to the DLA since 2016 and successfully retained its position through the agency’s latest competitive review and rebidding process.
The agreement covers supply and logistics support for multiple branches of the U.S. military, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, as well as federal civilian agencies.
“After successfully supporting the U.S. military since 2016, we are very pleased to have won the opportunity to continue as their prime contractor for certain refrigerants, industrial gases, and equipment,” said Brian F. Coleman, president and CEO of Hudson Technologies. “Our selection demonstrates the strength of our nine-year partnership with the DLA and our success in providing critical materials to the nation’s many and far-reaching military installations and facilities.”
The renewed DLA contract reinforces Hudson Technologies’ reputation as a reliable partner for large-scale refrigerant management and distribution. It also highlights the continued importance of sustainable and compliant refrigerant practices as the HVACR industry transitions to next-generation, low-global-warming-potential alternatives.
