REDWOOD CITY, California — Quilt launched Quilt Tools on Aug. 26, giving Quilt Certified Partners access to proactive alerts and remote diagnostics for installed Quilt ductless heat pump systems.

The web-based platform allows contractors to identify systems that need attention and review what happened, the likely cause, and the affected device. Partners can also review historical system performance to investigate issues that may not be present when a technician arrives.

Quilt said the platform is the first remote diagnostics system for ductless heat pumps. Alerts are sent to contractors rather than homeowners, allowing partners to determine when service is needed.

Quilt Tools is available to partners at tools.quilt.com. The platform also consolidates lead management, order tracking, invoicing, sales and marketing resources, and access to Quilt's partner support team.

Contractors can assign different roles within the platform, including office manager, technician, sales representative, and bookkeeper. Each role receives access to the functions required for that position.

Quilt said every system is connected, instrumented, and capable of receiving over-the-air updates. Homeowners must opt in to data sharing before partners can access system performance information through Quilt Tools.

The platform has been in preview with six partners since July. Michael Yarolin of Thermodynamix in Westchester, New York, said his company has installed more than 50 Quilt systems since last fall and has used the platform to determine whether a system is experiencing an actual problem before dispatching a technician.

Quilt also relaunched its Quilt Certified Partner program, restructuring its Associate, Select, and Expert tiers around monthly installation performance rather than purchase volume.

Select and Expert partners receive access to twice-annual consumer promotions and marketing matching campaigns. Expert partners also receive a seat on Quilt's Product Council, enhanced lead generation, a professional video shoot, and a public partnership announcement.

All Quilt Certified Partners receive access to Quilt Tools and Toolbox, along with installation and sales training, SPIFFs, customizable marketing assets, and homeowner leads.

The changes come as Quilt's contractor network has expanded to more than 150 Certified Partners across 46 U.S. states and Canadian provinces. The company said monthly installations grew more than fivefold during the first half of 2026, while homeowner leads routed to partners increased sixfold year over year.

Quilt began selling to contractors in 2025. Its partner network includes private equity-backed service organizations and independent local contractors.

The company's ductless heat pump systems have SEER2 ratings of 25 for two-room systems and 25.3 for three-room systems, with an HSPF2 rating of 12. 

A firmware update delivered in fall 2025 increased the outdoor unit's maximum capacity to 24,000 Btu/h for cooling and 25,200 Byu/h for heating across installed systems without requiring new equipment.
