GREENVILLE, Illinois — Enertech Global has established two financing partnerships designed to make residential geothermal heat pump installations more affordable for homeowners. The options include a geothermal lease through Palmetto and a home equity line of credit (HELOC) through Figure.
The partnerships provide homeowners with $0-down options for geothermal heating, cooling, and domestic hot water systems.
The Palmetto Geothermal Lease eliminates the upfront payment and includes maintenance and repairs throughout its 10-year term. A financing portal allows contractors to offer the lease to customers. Enertech is among the equipment manufacturers approved for the program.
Palmetto has deployed more than $4 billion in assets through its clean energy leasing business, according to Enertech.
The second option, Figure’s HELOC, offers homeowners financing terms of 10 to 30 years. The loan includes no dealer fees or prepayment penalties. Figure also provides a contractor portal for tracking customer applications.
The application process takes approximately five minutes, according to Enertech. Contractors installing Enertech heat pumps also qualify for exclusive lower interest rates through the program.
The partnerships give HVAC contractors additional financing options when presenting residential geothermal systems to homeowners. The programs are designed to reduce the upfront financial commitment associated with geothermal installations.
