F.W. Webb Opens New Vermont Location
BEDFORD, Massachusetts — Trade professionals across greater Middlebury, Vermont, now have a new resource for projects of any size as F.W. Webb Co. opened its newest wholesale location at 139 Industrial Avenue. The 35,000-square-foot building offers convenient access to Route 7, Middlebury College, downtown Middlebury, and surrounding communities.
“Based on customer input, we identified Middlebury as a community that would benefit from our 16 areas of expertise, especially with the breadth of product we maintain on site,” said Bob Mucciarone, COO of F.W. Webb Co. “For everyone from one-van contractors to institutional operations managers, we provide the vital resources needed to construct and maintain facilities and infrastructure across the region.”
“Our wholesale store is uniquely positioned to fulfill pressing needs for building materials in this area,” said Brian Bradley, general manager of F.W. Webb’s Middlebury operations. “We’re investing here to ensure our customers have dependable, efficient solutions nearby for every phase of every project.”
F.W. Webb’s wholesale store provides a full-service experience with end-to-end project solutions, offering:
- Selection: Thousands of plumbing, heating, HVAC, industrial, and other general work products are available under one roof. Contractors can find tools, HVAC units, replacement parts, accessories, cleaning supplies, and more on site. A large storage yard stocks pipe, valves, fittings and additional materials for water works and other projects;
- Convenience: Trade professionals receive prompt assistance at the self-serve counter. Plus, the F.W. Webb team takes orders via text, email, or fwwebb.com, with easy pickups at a dedicated will-call center, while daily deliveries bring orders directly to shops or job sites;
- Expertise: Bradley’s seasoned team shares product guidance and technical support; and
- Training: A training center for 15 people accommodates skilled tradespeople for certifications, product demonstrations, and other industry-related education.
To support these solutions, an experienced 11-member team is already in place, with plans to add an additional staff member in the near future.
“Our philosophy is simple: We’ve Got It, whether it’s a single press fitting, a rooftop unit delivered to the job site, seamless support, or manufacturer-backed training,” said Bradley. “We look to make a real difference for our customers regardless of their project scope.”
Alongside the wholesale operation, the wholesaler plans to add an interactive showroom for community residents and professionals. A modern Frank Webb Home showroom will feature kitchen, bath, and lighting solutions for homeowners, designers, and contractors. They can explore working displays, including a Mr. Steam installation, operational showers, and fully functional vignettes. A dog wash station adds to the showroom’s appeal, highlighting practical solutions for everyday living. The Frank Webb Home team is completing the final preparations for the showroom, with an opening date to be announced soon at frankwebb.com.
“We look forward to welcoming Middlebury and Addison County residents into our showroom, where they will discover our diverse selection of the highest quality products from leading manufacturers,” said Tom Blake, manager of Frank Webb Home’s Middlebury showroom. “When we work with customers, we consider both design elements and practical requirements to help them choose options that fit their budget, style, and long-term vision.”
The wholesale store is now open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A grand opening celebration will be held in the near future; details will be announced soon.
This new location is part of F.W. Webb’s strategic expansion across the Northeast. Approaching its 160th anniversary, F.W.
